The main theme of our Engineering Discovery Time is to learn the process of Try, Fix, and Try Again.

Children are maximizing their minds of innovation, creativity and critical thinking through our Engineering Discovery Time.

Electrical Circuit

What is an electric circuit? Electric circuits are electrical components and wires connected together in such a way that electric current flow through them. We learned how electrical circuit works in a simple DIY light circuit today!

Cup Tower

It turned out to be one of the best Discovery Times since the beginning of the program! Children learned how to become good team players in today’s activity. Most of the children couldn’t build a tower either stable or tall by themselves. However, they ended up building a tall tower (taller than our 1st grade kids) after planning and working as a team. Geometric STEM Challenge

The challenge was to hold a book with limited number of marshmallows and toothpicks. Children tried different shapes to attain the goal while learning some geometry and engineering (building).

Wind

In physics, the force is defined as the push or pull of an object with mass that causes it to change its velocity. Children built straw propeller, wind gauge, and wind vane while learning the basic concept of force.
